new G41, clean install and warranty

Hi All,
Just got my G41!

Here is my question. I have a copy of XP and I would like to repartition HD and do "clean install".... Now, i have 30 days to return laptop for any reason, correct?

If I do clean install, will it void warranty? Will I be able to return laptop?

As long as you leave the recovery partition intact, (which you should unless you allowed to be accessed via BIOS), you can always restore to factory state using IBM ACESS button when you reboot.
