R52 strange power button issue XP

I hAve an R52 that is very slow to boot. And if it finally gets
All booted it, the pointer, freezes. After
An extended POST, the XP screen progess
Bar sometimes freezes. I can make the
Program bar "go" by pressing the power
Button momentarily. I am currently overseas,
So local US service is out. Any help
Is appreciated!

Also sometimes it all works fine. Though right now I'm dead in the water... :x

Appears to be loose connection under the lower left corner. Hold down a tad an works like a champ. Will post final and pics of fix should it be successful this weekend.

Remove the keyboard, the keyboard bezel and the wifi-card.
Under where the wifi card was, you'll find a big square Intel chip, the Southbridge.
Reconnect the keyboard, but hold it 'levered up'.
Now put pressure on one corner of that chip and try to boot. Repeat with another corner, until it boots fine.
If so, that Southbridge chip needs to be reballed, or the motherboard replaced.
