Hi!
I got a thinkpad R30 from a friend but it doesn't work. It powers off after a few seconds, nothing on the screen, no beeps or something like that. I have tried to start it without battery, DVD-player, harddrive and RAM, but no success.. but when I start it without RAM it doesn't turn off and keeps going. I have also tried to change the RAM.
Any ideas?

Don't waste any time or money on it.
It was made by Acer, not IBM.
Round-bin it, as it is too old (and parts not easy and expensive to get).
