Need A31p service manual.

Hi all,
I'm about to try to fix my 'ole trusty A31p by taking parts off of another that is coming from ebay. Supposed to work so i might switch parts over to that one.I need a service manual to help with those places where there's just one more screw but you cannot find it,things like that..emailing it to me would be great.Thanks

The Hardware Maintenance Manual (HMM) for the A31p can be downloaded from here:

You will need a way to open/read Adobe Acrobat files (.PDF). There is a link to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader program just under the link for the HMM. Another program that reads .PDF files is Foxit Reader. A free version can be found here:

Thanks much...it's good to see how thinkpads.com has flourished since I've been using Dell for gaming. The A31p has a nice feel, still ,and I plan to keep using it for a lot of reasons..one of the biggest is power consumption here off the grid. The gaming laptops are big hot beasts that want 230watts. Night time in the winter one has to be power frugal.The screen still looks good even with the dead pixels..
