R40, 512MB, XP/SP2
I bought a 1394 PCMCIA card that ought to work right away but doesn't.
Shouldn't I be able put it in the slot and it would be recognized? Didn't happen. In fact it froze the computer. Or should I have it in the slot when I turn on the computer. I want to use it to connect to a firewire ext. HD.
Thanks
