I imagine your best bet is to use a 15-pin VGA cable. You'll need a male connector on both ends of the cable. This assumes that both the R50e and TV have female VGA jacks. I'm pretty sure the R50e does. Not so sure about the TV.

A less desirable alternative is S-Video (4-pin connector), or even less desirable Composite Video (yellow RCA connector). There are S-Video to Composite video adapters available if you need one.

Installed vga cable but TV says 'no signal' ? anyone know what could be wrong, does the lap top need resetting to use the vga port?

Solved it, connected vga cable and keyed fn + f7 on the lap top to bring up the monitor options, chose dual monitor options and it all works.

Cheers Ian
