Hi All,
I would like to remove IBM's hidden partition on my hard drive and use the space on my C partition..
Has anyone done this successfully? Since it's hidden, do I need a special tool to do this?
Thanks and regards,
Jim
R40 and IBM hidden partition
If I am curious about the size and contents of the hidden partition, can I press the F1 at startup, do a little looking around and then on restart will it be hidden again? Or do I need to do something special to re-hide it? Or is the partition forever no longer hidden?

Re: R40 and IBM hidden partition
MarcosV,
Read this.
There is an option in the BIOS to show the hidden partition. BTW you can rehide it whenever you want.
