taping disable pin in r32 mini pcie slot
I was looking at installing a 3rd party wifi card. I looked at the page with the the zender bioses but it mentions about taping pin. Can anybody specify the instructions??

It's pin #21. Lay down a small piece of electrical tape and trim off the excess tape from covering the other pins and you should be good to go.compsavvy wrote:I was looking at installing a 3rd party wifi card. I was thinking of either removing the pin from the socket on the motherboard the next time I crack into my wife's R52.
R52: P4M 2.2GHz / 2GB RAM / Atheros Chipset 802.11abgn / Other goodies / Ubuntu 10.10
R40: P4M 2.4GHz / 2GB RAM / Atheros Chipset 802.11abgn / Other goodies / Backtrack R5
