my r50e work laptop is not booting up???HELP

this morning my laptop died n when i pluged it in the operating system was not found. i unpluged the cmos for 15 mins i repeatedly changed hard drive (4 hard drive i tried non work) and tried the hard drives on a other machine and they worked i tried cleaning it but still nothing... all i get is operating system not found.
Please help me someone.. in need of some advice p.s i solder pcb board soo if theres something i neeed to solder im fine with it. Plus i fix computer but this one ive never came across???Ohh n i also messed around with the bios. and put the hard drives as bootable devices.. Sooo someone help me here...?

When you tried the other hard drives, did you screw (using all 4 screws) them into the silver caddy the old drive was in, and then insert them into the hard drive bay upside down?

there was no caddy. and i put it with the seagate sticker facing up to the screen i did that for all my hard drives

That's your problem right there.

The drive must be facing down, and secured in the caddy with all 4 screws.

thats odd? but it been working perfectly fine with it upside like that but ima give it a shot ill be back with a update in 10 mins

:banana: DUDE I OWE YOU ONE IT WORKED!!!!!! :banana: Thank you man it work on the frist try dang that was so easy. 10 mins and it worked instead of hours of work but wow idont even know how i can repay you but i owe you one.!I Was about to order a new mobo and already thinking of switching laptop anyways.
