TP R40 DLL File Trouble

I have a R40 that up until two weeks ago worked beautifully, I came into the office and there was a message that one of my device drivers had a problem and that I would have to reinstall it. I didn’t think at the time to make note of what it was that had failed but on logging in I realized that the battery wasn’t charged to the 100% mark, since then it has slowly depleted itself down to zero?

In hind site capturing this crucial piece of information before I acknowledged the message would have been great? Anyone else see this situation before by any chance?

The R40 has a new embedded controller update with some battery fixes in it. Update your BIOS while you're at it.
