Hi ThinkPad lowers.
Have some strange problem that appears after clean installation of Windows 7 Ultimate. Never had this problem before, after I installed SP1 x64 manually I always install 2 KBs and than MSE, so far everything has worked and I got the updates, but now I had this massage after every Windows starts. After I uninstall MSE the message is disappeared so I know that the MSE causing that problem.
- Windows6.1-KB3020369-x64
- Windows6.1-KB3172605-x64
- Microsoft Security Essentials
https://www.microsoft.com/en-eg/downloa ... px?id=5201
It must be some KB that must be installed before MSE to verify that the driver (MSE program) is valid, does anybody knows which KB is this?
Thanks in advance.

AFAIK MSE no longer works on W7.
Instead use Windows Defender.
If that doesn't work download this version: W7-Defender-4-9-221-0-mssstool64.exe

Re: Microsoft Security Essentials - (KLSDriver problem)
Hi RBS,
I downloaded Windows Defender from the official MS website, but nothing happened when I run, the program was not started, I have try several time and just got bunch of errors in Disk Cleanup.
• Windows Defender in Windows 7 and Windows Vista 32/64-bit
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/defenderupdates
After I uninstalled the MSE I tried Windows update again and as optional update I got MSE, so I downloaded again and so far so good, no irritated massage KLSDriver problem and updates from MSE working, problem solved.
