PowerManager 3.66 will not install

I've a problem with the newest version of ThinkVantage PowerManager. The installer told me that an previous version of Power Manager is installed on my system and need to be uninstalled prior to installation of the recent version. However I have not any previous version of Power Manager installed on my system - I have been using W7 power settings. I've been searching through the Lenovo forums as well as through the Google but didn't find anything. Thanks for help.

Edit:
Both installation methods (standalone package, System Update) aren't successful.
