When I entered the COA from my dead T410 it said the COA was from preinstalled software and I need to contact the supplier for more details.

Same result from my new(used) Thinkstation S20, I didn't like my code.

I've used the Vista Business .iso from this site and it worked fine. They are clean downloads with no bloatware, malware, or viruses.

I have done this many times for HP, Gateway and Dell systems and they always
provide the disks for about $20, cheap because you already have a COA.
