Removing Office 2013 and installing office 2007

#1 Post by Geophyte1 » Mon Aug 08, 2016 4:13 pm

Anyone know of any kind of backward compatibility issues for files or for the programs if I remove Office 2013 from my W541 and install Office 2007?

thanks,
Regards,

Don't know about Office 2013 but I had some minor compatibility issues when switching from 2007 to 2010. Ideally you'd want to run both for a while, maybe on different machines, in order to convert/solve compatibility issues. That's what we did. Again the issues was relative minor and easily fixed.

Thank you for the input. I have not made up my mind as yet but I just get so frustrated with Office 2013 and trying to find where particular things can be accessed.

Leave Office 2013 in place and just add this little gem: UbitMenu Intertnational
OUT with those crappy 2007/2010+ ribbon-menus, back to 2003 layout at the click of a single button whenever you want.
Been using it for years!
