LENOVO SOLUTION CENTRE not working on a Thinkpad t60

Hi,

Just 'upgraded' to windows 7

Anyway, it all works fine, but because PCdoctor 5 doesn't work in W7, I decided to try Lenovo Solution Centre. But although it appears to install without any problems, it won't work

When I try, all it does is show on the task bar. When I try to open it, nothing happens?

Any ideas anyone?

You're entitled to your opinion. But the OP wants to try it, and I see nothing wrong with that.

Let the OP make his/her own decision to determine if it's "crappy, useless bloatware."

Do not use it, it has Adobe Air dependency which is basically a desktop Flash version, the most buggy and always vulnerable software ever

Check Event Log instead, it provides more useful information in many cases. If you want to inspect or monitor hardware use HWiNFO or other proven tools.

Yup, USSS, I have the latest version "lscsetup_x86_34002.exe". Installed and uninstalled about 6/7 times now, and it simply won't work.

But if all it does anyway is give me information I can get elsewhere, I guess I'll give up.
