SOLVED: Stopped responding to mouse click when button pressed

#1 Post by TOTAL » Sat Dec 26, 2020 2:09 pm

A strange change in the responsiveness of the trackpoint buttons on my x230 windows 7 64bit .

When playing virtual musical instruments, I use the qwerty keyboard to press 'piano' keys, and the trackpoint and mouse buttons - or mouse - can be used at the same time to modify the parameters on the graphical interface of instruments.

This is how it used to work for decades and quite recently, don't really know in what circumstances, something changed, so that upon pressing a qwerty key, the mouse down button responds only once. I have not installed any drivers, the trackpad has been off for months, don't know what is wrong.

Can you think what might be impairing the responsiveness of the mouse buttons when keys are pressed?

Thanks.

ANSWER: this was the autohotkey script mod I had done some time ago.
