how get Win7 for t440p

hi,

i got my t440p from Taobao.
So, it came with Win7 Chinese edition.
i couldnt change the setting to English, so i wiped the harddrive and install Linux.
But i have not quite satisfy with Linux.
And banking website for both my banks wont allow Linux browser.
So i want to go to Win7 English edition.

what option do i have if i want to buy and install Win7?

i successfully got W7 installed via Recovery DVD.

now i try to do Windows Update. but i got an error: " an error occurred while searching for new update...code 80072EFE..."

W7 shows the latest updates to the OS is dated 2014.

how do i get all the important updates?
