Windows 7 not activating AUG-2021

I have a clean install of windows 7 Pro x64 on a DELL OptiPlex 780 SFF. I tried entering the key on sticker many times and keep getting "The product key you have entered does not appear to be a valid windows 7 product key. Please check your product key, and type it again." I retyped it several times now and their is no phone option either. I even tried change product key and get same message. I am guessing that Windows 7 activation servers are shutdown now? I know Windows XP is and the only way to activate was by phone "If you already entered the key during install" If trying to update/change key it doesn't work now" Link here to that page, Last post on page: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=123500&start=30

Windows 10 does work this machine but the DELL drivers do not work such as audio driver, it says this driver isn't compatible with this system OS.

Make sure you are using the Dell OEM Windows 7 install media. If you are, it will not need to activate with a key and seamlessly activate immediately after OS installation is complete (SLIC2.1 code in BIOS).

If you need an ISO, I have both x86 and x64 flavors of W7P w/ SP1 in Dell OEM.

I got it working. It turns out the 8 in the key was a B. I hated these Microsoft stickers after Windows XP. All the Windows Vista and 7 and some late XP stickers were just plain paper stickers and would fade or get ruined over time. I loved the Windows 95-Windows XP laminated keys.

Yes, known problem. I put clear tape over some of my stickers to protect them from this.
