#1 Post by syeo » Fri Jan 09, 2009 9:45 pm

I was curious to see if anyone has tried the windows 7 multitouch on a x61t with a multitouch screen.

Whats it like?!

Be careful about the word "multitouch." I'm pretty sure the "MultiTouch" X60/X61 Tablet screens are not multitouch in the sense that they can sense multiple simultaneous touches. It's a brand name that means you can use either a finger or a tablet stylus.

Very misleading, in my opinion. I might have considered getting the touch screen if it weren't just an "MT" promise. The Dell Latitude XT has proper multitouch, as do some upcoming HP tablets.

i have other laptops but i'll be honest i never use 'em

I'm a fanboy now. Working great for me. Better than vista x64 although some of the cool features you see on youtube aren't working because we don't have true "multitouch".
