a31p driverheaven.net-hacked D3D-compliant drivers, anyone?

I've played a lot with trying to hack the official ATI drivers with the driverheaven.net on my a31p. No success so far - the (hacked, of course) driver can't be installed - it complains about incompatible hardware.

(On a side note, the factory driver works just great on my t42p - with all acceleration enabled. I've, in addition, also been trying to find a working, D3D-compliant driver for the TC1100.)
