#1 Post by bigwormie » Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:49 am

Has anyone tried active protection in windows 7 32 bit yet?

Here is the beta but I am scared to try it (x61t):

that's not a beta driver.   that's a tested driver for a beta operating system.   big difference. ;)

Most of the Lenovo device drivers only partially work on my X41 on Windows 7. But APS is one that definitely does work.

Although active protection is working great, I am noticing a small decrease in battery life. Maybe 20 minutes? I have not run any scientific tests but it just "feels" that way. Do you think this is true?

Does active protection eat away at battery life?
