WINDOWS7 T43 wireless and more driver missing

I tried WINDOWS7 which is a lot better than VISTA in many ways, fast, simple start menu, etc.
But, T43 has a lot of driver missing I found and not worth to trying at this point with T43 at least.
I tried some tricks in this forum but all failed.
But, other notebooks such as Acer, HP had better chance to install and use at a single shot.
I believe it'll take a long time to ThinkPad to get noticed to MS.

For the Wireless, you don't even say which card you have, so it's kind of hard to give good help.

My wireless adapter is Intel Pro/wireless 2915ABG at my XP.
I tried same driver from Intel web site, but it failed to access this driver.
I believe it has conflict an interrupt with other wrongfully defined WIndows7 one.

Try the XP driver from the page below by clicking on the Download button. Download the driver, then right-click on the file and choose Extract all. Next open Device Manager and choose your 2915ABG adapter and double-click on it (might not be identified yet). Choose Update driver, then choose Browse my computer for driver software. Browse to the directory where the files are. See below where the files are on my computer, to give you an idea of where to look.

C:\Users\<your_user_account>\Downloads\12.2.0.0_X_Drivers\Disk\XP\Drivers\x32

I have an IBM/Atheros a/b/g card in my T43p and Win7b picked it up no problem. I am surprised an intel card didn't work.

I had Windows 7 on my T43.

It is a little weird. Under Vista, the 2915ABG driver is installed. Under Windows7, you have to download the "XP" driver from Intel's site and use that.

The Intel 2915ABG driver installed from Windows Update for me today. Only driver missing on my 2668 T43 is the TPM chip one, which I will never use anyway.

I was just going to post what FrankL said...
I just installed Win7 7068 on my X31.All is better then i thought .My X31 has the intel 2200 wireless.
Just after installing Win7 , the win update found and installed the intel wireless, sound and trackpoint driver's.
I dont have any 3D stuff where my X31 only has 16 megs video but so far everything is great.
