Windows 7 Beta 7 upgrade.

#1 Post by Truthfinder » Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:21 pm

Does anyone know if Windows 7 Beta can be installed as an update from a XP or must Vista be installed?

Also, has anyone installed Beta 7 as a daul boot?

Thanks, Steve

It's better if you do a dual boot. Just create a primary partition on your HDD (about 20-30 GB is ok) and clean install Windows 7 on that partition.

My laptop runs with XP / Vista / Windows 7 and all seem to work fine. Anytime you want to re-install windows 7, just format that partition.

Have fun.
