Win7 - beta or RC - on X41 Tablet?
Has anyone here tried Win7 on an X41 Tablet? Was contemplating a clean install of the RC on mine but wonder if, given the limations of the machine (& reports of driver conflicts), whether it's really worth the effort. If you've tired it - what were your impressions? What problems did you encounter?

Re: Win7 - beta or RC - on X41 Tablet?
I've run it for a few weeks on a stock x41, and a coworker was running it on his x41t for a while.. everything works pretty solidly, only real complaints I had were with the intel graphics driver, and a bit of choppy window performance... but then again, the graphics in the 41 are far from up to 7, let alone, vista, standards.

Works great on my x41 tablet. The only driver I had to download from lenovo was the one for tablet buttons. I used the one for Vista. Everything else installed automatically or through windows update.
I do have one issue though. After trying to calibrate the tablet screen, the pointer goes all crazy and moves all over the place when using the pen as input. There is however no problem with the trackpoint, so I just reset the calibration data. I hope this will get fixed for the RTM.
It would be great if someone else could check this out and report.

I now have Win7 running on my X41T - & it's great! Sadly though, for the previous two posts, the graphics card in an X41T is not good enough to enable Aero.

This issue is solved in later builds.limaciform wrote: I do have one issue though.
