T400 and t500 ship with window's 7???

I just purchased a t400 and was thinking of upgrading to a t500.. My question is: Does any one know if those two models will ship with windows 7? IF not do you think it would be wise to wait for them to ship with windows 7 or just buy one know and upgrade later? Any input would be appreciated..

Unless you are in a real bind & must buy now I would wait, and buy once Lenovo is shipping ThinkPads with Windows 7. You will save a few hundred dollars & a fair amount of time that way. Initial reports have the street price of Win 7 at approx $200. Plus your time to wipe the drive to do a clean install. After that you will still have to download the Lenovo drivers and all. It's a big job. If you can wait, you'll be very glad you did.

Like many of us I've read so many articles about this who knows what will finally shake out. In this case I forgot to grab the link, but it said it was for Windows 7 Professional. The title of which is said to be designed to appeal to users of XP Pro that skipped Vista.

Vista Home Basic currently has an SRP of $200. Of course an upgrade costs only half as much.
