Need help with Wireless!

I've just installed W7 RC 7100 on my R52.

Pretty much needed updates up the yinyang! I downloaded the Audio driver from the Lenovo website (XP version). I found out I may need to update BIOS and Embedded controller. I need some type of driver for my Intel 2200 BG card and help installing it.

Pretty much have a lot of questions and am just starting out on this.

No aero but it's not a very big deal.

Any suggestions will be welcome

btw my R52 is Intel integrated graphics, 1.86 mhz PM, 1 gb RAM, and a 20 gb partition for W7.

Off topic but... who decided to make the Thinklight mustard yellow??!!!

I need some type of driver for my Intel 2200 BG card and help installing it.

The XP or Vista driver should work: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 1#wireless

Just follow the instructions on the link page to install.

An alternative is to use the wired ethernet connection in the machine and check for Windows 7 updates. There's a driver for the 2200 bg card that works fine.

For some reason that driver doesn't work for me.

I almost thought maybe there was not a wireless card in my lappy. I was almost ready to take it apart and check. I then decided to put a liveCD of linux in to nose around. I loaded 9.04 in it and lo and behold. It detected the wireless card and even had the available wireless networks around me!

I'm now working on the Jaunty for a second install.

Found out how to install wireless on R52 for Win 7:

Go Here.

Download the driver.

Double-click on exe program.

It will extract a folder called "SWsetup."

That folder will be in Computer>>SWsetup>>SP32628B>>double click on iProdifX>>restart
