Thanks for the link.

AFAIR, the Screen Magnifier is delivered in the Hotkey Features package which already have been ported and is available on the Windows 7 BETA page:

I know since it works for me. Even if I don't use it.

The Keyboard Mapper (Keyboard Customizer) works on Windows 7 without porting, at least on my T60. I'm glad it does as it allows me to control the volume using an external keyboard while the notebook is closed (and I'm using an external monitor). Setting volume in Windows sound mixer doesn't cut it as the volume buttons of T60 (and previous models) work independently of the OS.

It's a shame that they want to discontinue the Presentation Director. The Windows 7 capabilities in that area will probably be good enough for most setups (one external monitor or a projector) but users with more advanced sets will loose a valuable tool.

I have to agree on the Productivity Center, never found it useful. However, my ThinkVantage button is now useless. What will they assign to it?

I don't have W7 loaded presently on my T500, but it does have both GPS and a Webcam. I'm wondering what the implications of removing the GPS application and Camera Center are ... I do use Skype with the camera, hopefully that will still work.

Lots of people are asking for the reinstatement of Presentation Director in the comment section as well.

Based on what happened with System Update, if there are enough people asking, Lenovo may change her heart.

But I haven't tried Win7 yet so, I'll wait and see.

Cheers.
