Windows 7 64 bit ultimate RTM - Can't turn off admin (compat

I have turned on "run as administrator" for a few apps in win 7, but after trying to remove it, they still ask the question "are you sure you want to run... xyz program.

I clicked on any of the icons i have for the app and the box is unchecked for run as admin in compatibility mode so i am not sure what to do. I reinstalled the app, no help.

anyone else have this? i tried it on windows live messenger as I was having crashes with it out of suspend/resume
