Anybody have XP Mode working on a T61p?

My managing editor wants an article about installing XP Mode (RC or RTM) in Windows 7, and after a little checking, I agreed to do it. However, there's always a wrench in the works.

First of all, the Intel Processor Identification Utility (PIU) says Supports Virtualization Technology - Yes.

In the BIOS, under Config - CPU, Virtualization is enabled.

Windows Virtual PC installs without an issue. Windows XP mode installs with a checkbox for "Launch XP Mode." Then I get an error message that says, "Unable to start Windows Virtual PC because hardware-assisted virtualization is disabled."

So how about it? Anybody got it working on a T61 or T61p?

I had it working on a T61 with W7 RC build 7100. Are you certain virtualization is enabled? In order for enabling virtualization to take effect, the machine must be powered off.

Thank you! That was my problem. I had been doing restarts. When I tried it this morning after a full shutoff last night, it went directly into setup. (Won't tell you how long I messed with it.)
