Win7 Performance Issue?

I am Lara Croft,

I have recently installed windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit on my media center PC and have installed 2.1.3 of Media Browser. I've been running 2.1.3 on Vista on the same machine and it's been working fantastic. I was surprised that when I run it on Windows 7 (I have dual boot on the same PC for Vista and Win7) that the performance for watching mkv files is not good at all. The movies stutter quite a bit making it unwatchable. The really odd thing (I had figured it was network or codecs etc.) is that if I watch the same files using the Media Center "Videos" they play perfectly.

I'm assuming that rules out codecs (I installed Shark007 latest) and network (I shut down the wireless network and only have the Gigabit network to my NAS active). CPU and RAM in the performance monitor are all pretty low, so i'm at a bit of a loss.

I haven't opened a bug as I expect it's something with my set-up as I haven't seen others posting similar issues..

Any ideas?
