Where did Active Protection go?

#1 Post by Marc_G » Thu Nov 26, 2009 1:26 pm

Hi folks,

Sorry for lots of posts over the last few days. Again, I've searched but to no avail here.

I've installed W7 RTM on my wife's T60 1953 E4U, using a new Hitatchi 250GB 7200rpm drive, and I've installed all the Lenovo stuff including Active Protection.

But, I'm not able to find any icon/program/interface for the active protection. No way to see if it's working or not. Nothing in the notification area, and I've checked the "customize" section without finding it. Installed it a second time, no change. Nothing shows up in the Start Menu about it. There is a folder in Program Files, but no obvious interface to get into. I'm use to having it on the taskbar with a little green/yellow indicator.

Any help appreciated.

Control Panel->Lenovo's Airbag Protection->Show active protection icon on the system tray.
