I've got a new ThinkPad T400s (2823W3R) and also the Cordless Bluetooth Optical Mouse (41U5008).
I've installed Windows 7 64Bit.
But there are some connection Problems (different kinds):
1) sometimes small drop outs:
I realize this when I write something and than I move the mouse again.
But the cursor on the screen does move with a small delay.
Where are they come frome and how do I get rid of them ?
2) First Connection Problems:
The Mouse does not connect every time without Problems.
Usualy it should work after switching on Bluetooth and the Mouse.
But sometimes nothing happens, the cursor does not respond to the movements of the Mouse.
And nothing can change this:
Turning Mouse off+on
BT-module off+on
removing the Mouse from the bluetooth devices & turning on Mouse, press the connection-button on the mouse and adding again.
Restarting the Operating system
installing the Lenovo Bluetooth Mouse Suit.
Nothing helps (also in combination)
and sometimes later it works again, and i don't know why.
i really don't know what is the reason for this
and what i can do to slove the Problem.
thats bad.

Welcome to the Forum.
If you haven't done so yet, you should install Lenovo's System Update V4 and run that.
You may have just a driver problem.
This should be transferred to the Windows 7 Forum. Mods???

Re: BT Optical Mouse: Connection problems [T400s + Win7 64]
if anyone is interested:
the Problem number 2 general connection problems are gone now.
I installed the Lenovo Mouse_suite.
and uninstalled it ....
thats ist. now here are no connection Problems.
The problem number one remains:
after leafing the mouse, for writing a text for example,
it takes a moment till the mouse reacts on movements.
there is a small deleay.
anyone ideas ?
or is tis just the BlueTooth Problem ?
