Startup Screen

Some years back, I fell on my (retired) T41 and broke the screen. I know very well what a broken screen looks like.

The Windows 7 startup screen is a precise replica of that broken screen. Is there any way to get rid of that goofy mess?

I finally got a traditional startup flyout menu running and most all else is installed. I just need to get rid of the startup screen to go into production. ... JDH
