Separately control headphones and speaker volume

#1 Post by Mighty_Mauz » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:37 pm

I had it like this before:

The volume of the headphones and the speakers could be separately controlled. This meant that I could plug out the headphones and the speakers would be automatically muted. And when I replug the headphones, I could automatically listen again to my music.

It was very convenient in quiet rooms, so that I could walk away from my pc, without accidentally make a lot of noise by unplugging.

But on the way, by installing new drivers I guess, the feature has gone. Probably a setting that I cannot find. Anybody knows how to get it back?
