Thinkpad X300 with Windows 7

#1 Post by Ricci82 » Fri Apr 16, 2010 5:53 am

Hi all!

Ive installed Windows 7 on my X300. I found all drivers except some device called "Mini Card". What is it, and where i find the driver for it? I don't miss any hardware on the notebook, so i really dunno what it is.....

Thank you!

Mini Card is another name for Mini PCI-E slots.

This might be what you are looking for. It's for the X300.

If that doesn't solve your problem, try Windows Update.

Here is where you can get all the drivers and software for the X300.
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 69378.html

Be sure and follow the installation instructions to install any software from Lenovo. It used to be the case anyway, that running the downloaded file only extracted the software to C:\Drivers. You then had to run setup.exe (or similar file) from the appropriate subdirectory of C:\Drivers to install the software.

You should be able to find out what shipped with your ThinkPad from the following Parts lookup link.

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... yle=lenovo

All the available drivers and software is on the previous link I posted, or on Windows Update.
