Command line "run" box dissapears after process is finished

#1 Post by RWhite » Sun Oct 16, 2011 11:05 pm

Command link "run" box disappears after process is finished.

For example I go in this order>type run and my command "run" black box comes up.
I then run a trace route, once the trace route is finished, the black box just completely disappears and you can't view the data.

Does anyone might no what causes this?
It would sure help a lot, right now to see what I am actually running I have to take several screen shots and then piece them together=time waster.

Thanks guys

It's always been like this.

Instead of running the command directly, run the command prompt (cmd) and then run your command from there. Alternatively type CMD /K <your command>. This is equivalent to opening the shell, executing the command, and leaving the shell open. Enter "exit" to close the shell.

Awesome, thanks so much for clearing that up for me Bill.
I really appreciate it.
This will save me some time and headache.

Thanks again. :D
