Just bored, and interested in what kind of music others like. Love me some goth rock/industrial myself. Have for years. What about you?

I just recently discovered the band A Wedding Anniversary that flew under my radar all these years. They're probably one of my newest favorite goth rock bands. *REALLY* great album from 1989!!! You can find it on youtube if you want to hear it.

I listened to it! I couldn't find them on discogs, but it kind of sounds like Shoegaze. Very easily listening. Kind of reminds me of Natalie Merchant from the 90's. I like it!

I like alt rock, some pop, indie rock, "baby metal", and greatest hits. I try to collect physical media and listen to digital rips or downloads. No on-demand streaming baloney, other than FM Radio. I've paid some absurd amounts to get hard to find or out-of-print copies of physical media. Some particular CDs set me back more than the total sum of some of my ThinkPads...!

Artists I've seen live are Tonight Alive, June Divided, Softcult, Against The Current, and Yours Truly. I'd love to see any of them again.

Other favorite artists include Kaela Sinclair, M83, Yellowcard, Last Dinosaurs, Hot Rot Circuit, Clams Casino, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette, Anavae, The Goo Goo Dolls, Stand Atlantic, The Fray, The Story So Far...

I've been into prog rock ever since I got my first laptop back in 2009 (Acer Aspire eww). Wild music started popping up onto youtube and it was a great time. My all time favorites being Saga and Marillion. (Love that neo-prog sound)

Nowadays I listen to so much stuff from all genres. These days it's been Ginger Root and a lot of stuff from Boards of Canada. Check out Loretta by Ginger Root, really funky tune.

Hey there! Goth rock/industrial is such a cool genre—A Wedding Anniversary sounds like a band I need to check out. Thanks for the recommendation! It’s always fun discovering bands that slipped through the cracks, especially from earlier decades. I’m definitely going to give those tracks a listen.
