My IBM Desktops

#1 Post by ThinkPad560X » Sat Oct 22, 2011 7:32 pm

Out of my IBM ThinkPads, I own 4 IBM Desktops: IBM Aptiva 2170 "Tower", IBM NetVista M41 "Desktop", IBM ThinkCentre S50 "Slim Desktop", IBM ThinkCentre A50p "Tower"

I've upgraded the RAM in my Aptiva to its max 256MB from out of my NetVista and upgraded my NetVista to its max of 1GB. For my ThinkCentre's they had 256MB and X2 256MB =512MB, I bought X2 1GB to max one of them out and later for the other one. A problem accured with the S50 after the upgrade, A month later the system started to shutoff randomly and restart, So I stuck it in clothest and started using my A50p tower, witch has the 512MB. I took both sticks out of the S50 and put into the A50p "not knowing its the RAM" After I installed the ram everything worked fine but later it would do this. I have the orginal 40GB IDE HDD in the A50p running Windows XP Professional along with a new 1TB SATA running Windows 7 Home Premium. On the Windows XP, my Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 11 randomly bring an error up and closes the programs now. Under windows 7 running the system just randomly shutsoff and restarts like my S50 did. So I went back and reinstalled the orginal RAM back into the systems. The Sticks of 1GB I have are: EveryUpgrade 1GB PC2700 DDR-333. Is this a bad brand?? Its been a year since I bought the RAM off ebay "New" and thought it was just my S50 acting up.

So I riped my PSone game CD data using Sonic Business class that came on my ThinkCentre. The option I picked was rip/create CD image to Hard Disk As im making a digital copies of all my games and putting the real ones in storage. and made their own folder for the game title. I went to burn a copy of the PSone game on a CD-R and the CD didn't play in my PS3? Not sure why its not working.. Is their a program I can get that will rip the entire CD data? I thought this did, but not sure if it did or not. I also have a Nero 7 CD. Im also making replacment on some CDs as their cracking from the center, And hopefully Sony will add all the PSone games to the store.
