Documentary about John Titor, time travel, and the IBM 5100

I just stumbled across this today because a local film maker here in Toronto is apparently trying to raise funds to make a ducmentary of sorts about a guy named John Titor, who supposedly travelled back in time to look for circuit boards from the IBM 5100 that could be used for some world-saving event in 2036. I suppose the IBM 5100 is a predecessor to the Thinkpad in some ways, since it was a "portable" computer in a time where computers were the size of several desks.

I'd never heard this tale about John Titor and time travel linked to the IBM 5100 before though. There is a teaser video in the post below that is quite entertaining in its own way.
