Deleted After 10 Days???

#1 Post by Leon » Wed Jun 16, 2004 10:10 am

This thread:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... c&start=15

implies that threads are deleted after 10 days of inactivity. I know that this is a labor of love, but deleting like this is totally against the philosopy of an important forum such as this one. In this day of cheap storage, a relatively small forum such as this should keep its threads indefinately. I'm not criticising.. I thoroughly appreciate the work and contribution that Bill and others make to this board. I just hate to see valuable information dissapearing. I'm sure many of us (myself included) would be willing to make a donation if it would make a difference.

Not to worry.. already discussed and sorted out.

Bill suspended the 10 day deletion thing a while back. The previous poster in that link wasn't aware of that. It's been suspended until a better way to sort information has been figured out.
