Pardon me, but I don't think we need a poll like this. People should feel free to come and go with having to identify themselves in this way.

I'm one of the moderators, and I am a woman. Why do you want to know? Thinkpads.com is for the exchange of information about ThinkPads. It's not a dating forum.

Having this is no worse than asking age or location. This just helps to get a feel for who you're talking to. If you don't feel comfortable or safe disclosing this information, then don't provide it.
