MS Outlook settings for iPhone on T400 - Need some help.....

While I know the TP model really isn't important, I'm having trouble setting MS Outlook to accept and syc calendar and contacts with my wife's iPhone 3GS on her T400. I have an iPhone 4 and have no issues syncing with MS Outlook on my X60s, but I had MS set it up for me years ago and have zero idea on what they did. Going to the Apple store is fruitless as they won't touch a non-Apple computer. My wife's contacts are all in the cloud, and I'm also afraid that when I get this set up and s\ync, I'm gonna lose all the contacs. The one stipulation here is that she has two profiles on MS Outlook - one for her personal and one for her work stuff - we're only looking to sync the personal profile with the iPhone.

Can anyone help me out - or guide me to where I might find what I'm looking for? It seems that I never find plain-Jane instructions when I Google the subject - just a lot of crap about other things. Many thanks in advance.....
