Funmoods Tragedy - Need Help

#1 Post by julia » Mon Sep 24, 2012 12:22 am

I don't know how I got this accursed blight but I can't get rid of it in Chrome. I got it out of IE and Firefox. I keep deleting and reloading Chrome but it always comes back. I'm on a new X220 I love except for this. I'm running XP as an OS. I'm using ESET Nod32 Security5 but it wasn't on the computer when Funmoods got in.

Can anyone help? I'll be eternally grateful.

Sorry for your trouble.

Sometimes I have seen malicious software exploit seemingly benign sites.

If you haven't already I would try this.

Thanks, Brad. If I have to I'll resort to it. I was hoping not to download some another software program. That's how I got it in the first place. I should probably call ESET and see if they have a solution. What mystifies me is WHERE is it hiding?
