7.7" tablet with AMOLED display

It looks very promising. Finally display with good contrast ratio and viewing angle Hope we can get this in a (probably non-Lenovo) notebook one day.

Seems much akin to the Galaxy Tab 7.7(in display anyway). I guess one of the issues as the review says is brightness; AMOLED and outdoors don't exactly coin well. There was a Samsung laptop back in 2010 with an AMOLED display(albeit a transparent one). The sheer impracticality(even next to other laptops with transparent/translucent displays like the ThinkPad 755 which was LCD and could be used with a projector) was likely the reason behind its canning.

Here's just hoping they don't release laptops with pentile displays any time soon
