larry paige (co founder of google)'s thinkpad?

ok so my brother graduated from the university of michigan computer science department today, it was cool. at the engineering comencement cerimoney, larry paige (co founder of google) spoke as the keynote speaker. for his notes he brought a thinkpad to the podium.


it looked small enough and i thought it to be an x40. i thought it was pretty sweet that he had one since it had crossed my mind (but im also now considering the x41 tablet ). then my brother went and shook his hand during the cerimoney, saw the laptop, and said it didnt look that thin, it looked thicker, so it might not have been the x40 (even though he knows nothing about them).





does anyone have any remote idea if he has an x4x ?

If it were like the X40 but a little thicker, maybe it was an X31.

X31(X32?) if it's about the size of X40 but thicker. could be older as well but why would he use such an old device(unless there's something about it)

and no i didnt get to look at his keyboard and see it. all i saw was the top (backside of the screen) that you saw when the monitor was on him.
