Happy new year to all! This is my first post in a while, and I need to make a post so you guys (and girls) don't think I left for good. All is OK, it's just the fact that between a new hobby car and a new job, the Thinkpad hobby has gotten the short end of the stick since last summer.

We'll talk again in 2017. :)

We'll all need a very happy year ...

there is so much turmoil around, so much of short-sighted action, so much lack of empathy, so much lack of of factual knowledge and understanding...
we shall need very much luck to spare us the next hot regional or non-regional wars, we shall need very much luck to spare us more "catastrophic" years...

I'm not "green"-minded, I'm interested in (and working with) economics & taking part in politics since more than 50 Years, but I've never been that scared before:
    - The come-back of 19th-century politics of pure military strive for dominance without any regard towards any costs, costs of lives, costs of economic welfare
      - The come-back of isolationist politics as in the united kingdom without any sensible, fact-based economic reasoning, at the cost of the very people, their jobs, their welfare
        - The lack of interest in facts on polution and narrow-minded exploytation of this singular planet, Earth and the lack of interest in those chances, that would allow us to protect the planet and our lives.
