I tried using the ISO for the HD firmware update and the software said my drives can not be updated. Will look around for that 2010 hack (use something like it for my T30 wireless card upgrade).
I understand that we didn't get exactly what was listed, but the stuff was also listed as parts/not working and 3 of the 4 do work (mine works fine actually). It was a gamble from the start and paid off for me well enough. If I needed just that CPU then I would be [censored], but I just wanted a working T43p with a 1600x1200 screen.
Good deal T43p on ebay!

Re: Good deal T43p on ebay!
Indeed- under that basis we should have been much worse off, even the condition the screens turned out would've been a gamble. But I do agree with ajkula that what was advertised was a 2.26 GHz, and that would've had a factor in you wanting to buy it, since 2.26 GHZ was the best P-Ms they put in T43ps and the CPUs alone are quite valuable. The 2.0s we got are nearly worthless.
It is a bit of shady selling on their part... but I'm just too wrapped up in how much of a bargain this still is. Despite how much better off I would've been, I just can't work myself to demand the partial refund. They were probably just trying to get rid of the things.

Trying my hardest to collect Thinkpads, but college and being broke kinda gets in the way. However...
