Re: Whats your laptop/ tablet/ mobile phone combinations?
My on the road messenger bag contains a Lenovo X120e and Nook Simple Touch, in addition to a 4G Hotspot, ergonomic laptop stand (that doubles as a laptop case), headphones, all my school work and USB drives. When I'm at home, I hang this up in the closet.
The phone that I carry almost everywhere is a Nokia E6-00. Hardware keyboard, touch screen, one of the last true Nokia smartphones.

Re: Whats your laptop/ tablet/ mobile phone combinations?
Agreed, its a stunning phone. The only thing that's holding me back right now is the lack of storage expansion. Which is a big downside for me, but I doubt its major issue for most people. Wouldnt be much of an issue for me either if stores would be willing to keep the 16gb model in stock. (Yes, Webhallen and Komplett.se. I'm looking at you.)fleming164 wrote:

Re: Whats your laptop/ tablet/ mobile phone combinations?
This is also one of the two reasons that I am still stubbornly holding onto my 3-year-old HTC Touch Pro2, which uses Windows Mobile 6.5. (The other day I was at a Microsoft Store and the employees were shocked when I told them that I was still using this old OS.) I want to stick with Windows phones but believe that all of the newer ones lack storage expansion. My Touch Pro2 has a 64GB microSD card and even that is barely enough. I dislike cloud storage but like to have access to most of my important files at all times, so my strategy is to store these files on my phone.DaKKS wrote:The only thing that's holding me back right now is the lack of storage expansion. The other reason I am holding onto this phone is that I have grandfathered a super cheap phone plan, and if I upgrade to a different phone I would have to upgrade the plan as well.

Re: Whats your laptop/ tablet/ mobile phone combinations?
Count me in for storage expansion as well
Familiarity , compact size, physical keyboard, and a microSDHC card slot was the reason I bought my BB 9780 (replaced a BB 8900).

Re: Whats your laptop/ tablet/ mobile phone combinations?
My Lumia 810, which is the T-Mobile version of 8x0 Lumia, has a 32GB MicroSD. I believe 32GB is the official max, but I've seen others using 64GB cards. I really like the WP8 interface. iOS and Android seem really dated by comparison. The 810 is a nice phone too. It's not uber thin like the iPhone, but feels solid and comfortable in the hand. The screen isn't a retina, but looks good and is plenty bright for outdoors. I looked at the Nexus 4. It's seems like a heck of deal, but you can't swap the battery in addition to not being able to expand the storage.pianowizard wrote:I want to stick with Windows phones but believe that all of the newer ones lack storage expansion.

Thank you for the recommendation of Nexus 4. I ordered one today. Much cheaper than a Samsung Galaxy S3.fleming164 wrote:The Nexus 4 is the best phone I've ever come across, I couldn't recommend it enough...
The HTC Desire I have been using strains my eyes. That can go on eBay when the Nexus turns up.

Excellent choice! I'd recommend getting a case or number asap though, these things are slippery!killer wrote:

Laptop - T60 (in sig)
Tablet - Fujitsu Sylistic ST5111
Cell Phone - Debranded TM SE506
I am working on a X41t that I am planning on replacing the Fujitsu and my Netbook (Eeepc 900A) with. Giving up some CPU and ram but it should still work well enough for my needs. I used to have an iPhone 16GB, but after the battery died I went back to my old flip phone. It does everything I need for a phone.

I am a mobile phone child since my starting. After a lot of time got the understanding of laptops and systems, and the tablets are the recent ones so its easy to learn them. Have a laptop of Dell, no tablet yet, but soon going for Google one, and the Mobile phone is again i4s.
