Fan Noise

One thing I absolutely love about almost all the Thinkpads I use is- how absolutely quiet they are, versus how well they push heat. The W700 is probably the biggest example, despite housing an FX 2700M Quadro card, a Core 2 Quad Q9000, both pumping heat to two separate, massive fans, it's dead quiet, even under load.

However, my powerhouse machine that I have on hand to game on and render video, my Clevo D900F, puts that quality completely out of the picture, of course... in pursuit of top performance. It's extremely evident the machine is on and running, when the machine's under full load, or when the fans are maxed. To demonstrate that, I've made a video, to see what you guys think.

At least you will know if one of your fans malfunctions because you wont be able to hear it.

YES. Once, the fan in one of my 14" T60ps stopped working, and I had to have the keyboard out(but still plugged in) to see if it was spinning or not.
