Rugged ChromeBook

OK, so Uby has helped destroy his school issued Samsung ChromeBook. It does not matter that the current failure rate for 700 machines is 20%. Im looking for a mutually acceptable alternative. Anything out there other than the Lenovo X140e or the X131e? I would love to drop $300 to $500 on a new one, but what else is out there?

I did plead my case to Lenovo, and ask for a courtesy discount because of the Special Needs/Learning Disability

Key is the mutually acceptable. i still need to get the school to sign off on this thing.

Maybe now's a good time to look into a Panasonic Toughbook?
Not the cheapest, even used, but definitely one of the strongest!

I dont know that they will bite on the Panasonic to be honest. It needs to be native Android.
